Curvy Couture

It is 1:30AM, and I am wide awake.

Because it is technically Wednesday, here is my GPOYW. I took this photo about a year and a half ago while visiting Mackinac Island in Michigan… (I grew up in MI). I remember this moment, I was barefoot in the waterfall. I just felt beautiful, sometimes I feel the prettiest by hiding my face with my hair. Not sure why.

Today has been sort of bittersweet, I started off the day just fine. I am really just sick of not knowing what I am supposed to do with my life. I am a jack of all trades but a master of none. It’s BLOODY annoying lol, (picking up some european slang). I should probably be a good blogger and stop boring you with this, my beautiful friends.  But sometimes I don’t sound human enough on this blog, so I figured I would share with you all how I am really feeling… Every once in a while at least. ;) I will leave you with some lyrics… And a question.

Anyways, I miss hearing from you all. How are you, my wonderful followers?

Amanda: This past Halloween I went out as a toasted western! I felt great because this was the first time I wore jeans in 6 years! I’ve never been comfortable in them, but decided it was Halloween time and to go all out and buy a pair. Not only that, but my costume was a hit. My costume had personality and so do I and my boyfriend loves that about me and it feels greeeaaattt. I especially love this picture because the jeans are quite slimming and my boyfriend took it on his phone :)

You look lovely Amanda! Sorry, I didn’t post it earlier everyone! I just got it last night around 9pm, and I was sleeping like a baby. lol But here it is! Very creative! Thank you so much for sharing! <3

This was my costume this year. I got back from Galway that night and my friends and I decided to check out a halloween party. It was interesting to say the least. But my whole group of friends were nerds because we didn’t plan our costumes. I wish my glasses were on in this photo, it would make it 83% better. lol

Anyways, I just want to thank everyone who participated in my “pretty, pretty picture” game. You are all beautiful, and I hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Anna: I’m  Anna Sisko, and this year was the best. Not only did I throw together my Mad Hatters costume, but I made the hate from scratch myself. First Halloween being 21, made the night even more fun. But I love everyone’s costumes. So cute.

Ahhh! You made the hat yourself? That is insane girl! You have some awesome skills. But you look absolutely lovely, this costume is rad. Oh and it was my first halloween being 21 too! But I am in Europe, so it kind of takes away the excitement of that aspect lol. However, great job. Thank you for sharing Anna! <3

Amanda: This is me last night at a Halloween party. I went as Flo the Progressive Insurance girl. I always thought Flo was adorable and when I put on the costume, I felt just as cute. It was also a fun costume that not too many people had, plus I was nice and comfortable in pants and sneakers!

Haha! Brilliant! I have so many creative followers! :) Seriously, I never would have thought to be her. But you look adorable, you pull it off so easily Amanda! It also looks like you had a great time on Halloween! Thanks for sharing!! <3

Alyssa: I’m not really too sure why I feel pretty in this.
I think it’s probably the first halloween and first time in a long time that I have felt confident enough to go out and let loose.
I had alot of good friends to be around with as well, and that added to my confidence. And I’m a fricken lady bug. :}

Megan: I attached my photo, it’s from Halloween 2008. My boyfriend and I were dressed up as David and Victoria Beckham. I got SO many compliments on my hair, because at the time it was actually really long, and my friend somehow tucked it up and made it look like the Victoria Beckham bob. :] People told me it looked so good on me, I actually ended up chopping my hair off a month later to that exact style! Also, I just felt incredibly sexy with the strappy heels and awesome dress and everything. It was just an excellent night!

I think you look flawless girl. That is so creative! I might steal that idea sometime, mostly because I am sick of looking dumb on Halloween… This year I was a nerd, lol not a “sexy” nerd. But this is the ultimate sexy costume. Mostly because it is classy. I have seen too many trashy costumes! But I am so happy you felt sexy, because you truly look it! :) Thanks for sharing Megan!

Lauren: Hi, my  name is Lauren and this year I was Alice in Wonderland. I feel pretty in this picture because I just look really happy, and to me the happy girls are the pretty ones. I always been curvy my whole life, but I just started loving the way I look recently. I think this picture just shows it perfectly.

Nichole: Last year for Halloween I was Lucy from I Love Lucy…I came up with the idea because it’s my nickname (I had red hair when I was little and I Love Lucy was my fave show). I felt pretty because I got so many compliments and won $100 in the costume contest. I got second place…some tool with a blow up doll and a pole strapped to his back won first. I enjoy dressing up and kind of being someone else for a day. Plus it was just a really awesome costume and the only time I could get away with red lips and fake lashes haha!

I agree, your costume is awesome!! You make an excellent Lucy! Congrats on winning 100 bucks! :D Btw, I think you can wear red lipstick anytime! Oh, and fake eyelashes, I have done both in public! lol Just rock it girrrrl! :D Thank you so much for sharing Nichole!! <3
